We’ve previously shared hidden features, tips and tricks and in this post I’m gonna share Those kind of hidden features, tips and tricks again for Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is google’s 6th major update for Mobile OS.
The people who use Android Marshmallow may know that it isn’t a huge visual change, all the major elements lie under the hood. Nobody wants’s t dive deep in the setting section but that’s the place where all the trick stuff happens.
Below, I have shared some hidden features, tips and tricks to change the user experience of all the Android marshmallow users.
1. Google Now on tap –
Google now on tap is simply one of the best features in Android Marshmallow. Information can be accessed quickly on whatever you are looking o your Smartphone. Now, you no more need to close Apps to access Google. Once the feature’s enables you can access google in a single tap, just simply select the text and long pres the “Home” button. For enabling this feature Go to Google Now > Settings > Now cards and you can enable or disable ‘Now on tap’.
2. Active Developer options –
I know developer option is nothing new for you, bot there are some new ones in Android marshmallow. To Access developer options go to settings > About phone > tap on it for seven times, after that a pop-up will appear and it will notify you that you are now a developer.
Pres back and you’ll see developer option listed right above the About phone. By this trick you can enable USB Debugging, tweak animations and show touches and some other tips.
3. Built in File Manager –
Previous Android versions didn’t had any File mangers but you’ve gt one in Android marshmallow, It’s been hidden inside Settings. To acces the file manger Settings >Storage and USB > Internal storage and scroll down and tap ‘Explore’.
4. Android marshmallow Easter Egg –
Like the Lollipop Easter Egg, Marshmallow also has it’s own Easter Egg, It’a a flappy Bird lookalike, though Google has Added multiplayer feature this time. To get the game Just Go to settings > About phone and then tap on it repeatedly until you don’t see a marshmallow icon appearing on he screen, Tap on it and t will turn into a marshmallow with antennas, then hold still the icon until the game screen loads.
5. Hide/Show icons on status bar –
Another really good feature of Marshmallow is that you can hide the icons you don’t want to see in the status bar. Settings > System > Status Bar and turn off icons that you don’t wan to see in the status bar.
6. Enable System UI tuner –
System UI tuner is another hidden feature in Android Marshmallow 6.0 that allows you to customize status bar shortcuts and quick settings. With this feature you can also turn the Demo mode on.
To access UI tuner pull down the notification and long prees the cog at top next to the battery indicator. A pop-up will appear indicating that your UI tuner turns on.
