How to Upgrade Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 to Android KitKat 4.4.2 by Rooting

Samsung Galaxy Fit is one of the smartphone which has limited features and android firmware of 2.3.6. This is the problem facing who are handling this handset. But, here the solution for this problem by rooting your Samsung Galaxy Fit and Upgrade to Android Kitkat 4.4.2.


Step by Step Procedure for Latest CWM Recovery:

1. First of all, rooting your Samsung Galaxy Fit. If you rooted your device just ignore this step. Click here to check "How to root Samsung Galaxy Fit"

2 Ensure that Your battery should be more than 80%. 

3. Download CWM recovery 6.0.4.5 .zip and copying this zip file from computer to your SD card using USB cable.

4. After copying this files, Disconnect your USB cable from the computer. Then, Power off your Samsung Galaxy Fit and opening Recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Down Button, Home Button and Power Button for 5-7 seconds simultaneously.
In recovery mode, Volume Button is useful for navigation while Menu Button is to select.

5. After that, Install CWM recovery 6.0.4.5 by the path  "Install Zip from SD card > Choose Zip from SD card > select Install CWM recovery 6.0.4.5"

Step by Step Procedure for Android Kitkat on Samsung Galaxy Fit:

1. Download Cynogenmod11 and Google apps on your computer and Copying this file to your SD Card using USB cable.

2. After copying this files, Disconnect your USB cable from the computer. 

3. Back up your all important data on your Samsung Galaxy Fit because after flashing ROM everything will be cleared. 

4. Then, Power off your Samsung Galaxy Fit and opening Recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Down Button, Home Button and Power Button for 5-7 seconds simultaneously. In recovery mode, Volume Button is useful for navigation while Menu Button is to select.

5. Then, select Wipe Data/Factory Reset and then confirm your action. Again from main menu select Wipe cache Partition and 

6. After clear Wipe cache and go to Advanced menu to clear  Wipe Dalvik cache

7. Then, Install CWM recovery 6.0.4.5 by the path  "Install Zip from SD card > Choose Zip from SD card > select Install Cynagenmod11.zip" (This file is located at SD card where you are copied from computer, Step 1)

8. After completed this installation, by this same way install Google apps.

9.  After the successful installation of both files, go back and Reboot system now.
It would takes 5-8 minutes for rebooting your device. so patiently waited for until it starts.

Now, your Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 is Successfully upgraded to Android Kitkat 4.4.2.
